St.Petersburg – the capital of Russian rock awaits with great anticipation a meeting with Nickelback.
Don’t miss the Canadian rock’n’rollers’ world tour in honour of the Feed The Machine album. This will be the biggest and most spectacular show in the band’s history. This tour marks the triumphant return of the musicians to Europe and on May 23rd, in the Ice Palace in Saint Petersburg, they will perform fresh, new hits from their ninth studio album.
After The Rain, Song on Fire and Silent Majority, their new work Feed The Machine has become one of the most vivid, energetic and resonant creations of Chad Kruger and his team since the Silver Side Up.
“We can not wait to return and we want to play for all our fans in Europe! Concerts there are some of the most memorable events for us, the energy our European friends create during the concerts is something truly contagious – in the best sense of the word. This is our biggest show at the moment, and we are ready to make a really crazy party out of this tour”- states Chad Krueger from Nickelback, who before becoming a musician was earning money working in a cafe.
The name of the band took a long time to find until they decided to use a phrase repeated several times a day “Here’s your nickel back” meaning “Here’s your change”. Nickel – the American name for a five-cent coin.
The group was included on the list of the best artists of the first decade of the XXI century, according to Billboard. The band won first place among rock bands.
